LARGE MACHINING FOR CHALLENGING FABRICATION PROJECTS
Oregon Iron Works’ (OIW) large capacity machining and manufacturing delivers quality and performance, in every finished piece, for every customer.
Unlike other companies, OIW has the ability to machine in-house challenging fabrications up to 120 tons. Our 110’ traveling floor mill, 40’ open sided planer mills and multiple gantry-style 5-axis machine centers handle steel, stainless, aluminum, titanium, plastics, tooling board, and other ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
As our customer’s projects have grown in size, so has our facility. Over 330,000 square feet of shop space and more than 57 acres for material preparation, machining and welding ensures that we have the capacity to successfully deliver your project, from a single part to the largest structures.
Custom quality control and quality assurance programs ensure adherence to the most demanding codes and specifications for industries such as nuclear, aerospace, hydro, marine, transportation and heavy construction. Some examples include ISO, NQA-1, ASME, AISC, ABS and AWS.
